NET calories

hello alright so i am 76.7kg and i have to get to 65kg for my upcoming fights. so iv been using myfitnesspal for around a week maybe and its amazing but my question is if i go to my muay thai class and i burn off an average of 2000 calories by the end of the lesson and i plug that into myfitnesspal do i have to eat all of that NET calories eventhough i need to lose that much weigh. i have to eat 1400 calories to lose weight if i work out and burn 2000 (and mind you i go to muay thai 3 timse a week) that would mean i would need to eat 4000 calories in that day what if i eat just the 1400 that i needed normally and leave out that extra 2600 calories of NET would that be healthy or putting my body through starvation? hope that made sense lol :S

You don't have to eat the ALL back - but I would eat back probably at least 1/2 or so.

Be careful about estimating the calories you burn in class, MFP does tend to go over a bit just like the treadmill and eliptical at the gym do.

2,000 calories seems like a lot. I also do martial arts (not as intense as competitive muay thai) but when I compare how I feel during/after training compared to a bike ride or a run (200-400 calories), it definitely isn't 10 times as much.
Try not to worry about your body going into starvation too much. MFP tends to over play that, probably to avoid legal problems with people not eating!
