Hi everyone, so I just got home from a wonderful cruise vacation and when I got home I decided to step on the scale to assess the damage. I knew I put on some weight, but I worked out in the fitness center every day on board and I was not expecting a 10 pound gain! I am a 5'3" female and before going on the cruise i was VERY fit at 110 pounds and ate nothing but healthy food. Now, I am looking kind of flabby and now up 10 lbs to 120 I am SO devastated and feel totally crappy about myself. I am starting back on my healthy diet and workout schedule today but I am so scared I wont be able to get back to the way I was before. It took me 6 months to get my body the way I wanted it and now I feel like I am back at square one Will this weight come off quickly by just getting back into my normal routine? Anybody have any advice if this has happened to them before?

First of all, don't stress. You will take all the joy out of your vacation! Just get back into logging again. You are probably retaining water. You will get back very soon. Cheers!0

It's probably mostly water weight. Don't worry about it. Just get back into your usual workout and eating routine and I'm sure you'll get back to that size very soon. :flowerforyou:0

Thanks guys. Does it usually take a while for the bloating to go away? I am back down at 111 lbs so almost back to normal weight but still appear more flabby than normal. My stomach just doesn't look like it did before the cruise and it is very discouraging it's only been 3 days since I've been home but would it take this long for the bloating to go away?0

You are one pound away from your weight when you left for your cruise. Relax.0 -
Went on a 5 night cruise back in April, gained 7 pounds. Couple of days later it all came off. Just water weight.0

I guess it's not really the number on the scale that is upsetting me I mean I am only 1 pound away from where I was previously. It's more of a concern for me that I still LOOK flabby.0

You should try lifting weights if that's your thing..0
