If your nutritionist tells you to only eat 800-900 calories, fire them. They are a moron and need to educate themselves.

Sorry, I missed that part of the post.

You need to eat more because it is very unhealthy for your body to not have enough calories. It will in fact slow down your metabolism due to your body not receiving the nutrients that it needs. By not eat, it forces your fat store to retain fat to keep the energy to maintain a running system. You really should do some reading on BMR and how eating less than 1200 calories can have adverse affects.

If you can't eat 1200 or more, you need to train your body to do so just like you train your muscles to get stronger. Also, if you are paying for a nutritionist, why would you not listen to them?
  • The egg and grapefruit diet is a great one and can lose upto 14lb in a week but as for being on your second week it does state you zhould only do it for a week at a time

nutrionalist and GP's are not dieticians and not trained enough to know what is a good "diet" and what isn't.

if you are eating under 1200 calories a day it is not healthy.

And it will slow your metablism if you do it long enough.

Now that your diary is closed...*intersting* I can't comment totally on the food you are eating but get a kitchen scale weigh your food eat at a "reasonable" deficet and you will have better chances of losing and keeping it off.
