Why does my carb level go up and down as I eat certain things? I'm looking at the nutrition pie chart on my app.

it's reporting how much % of your food's calories has come from carbs, fat, protein for that day/week.
So it will change with what you have tracked so far that day.0 -
why does it go down sometimes?0
-
because you ate more protein/fats vs. carbs in what you tracked.0
-
Because it is baced on the % of what you have loved for the day if you eat something higher in fat or protein and lower in carbs it can change the percent of carbs your cals are are up of.0

ah! Thank you to both of you who answered. I got it.0

The pie chart shows percentage of total calories broken down by macronutrients. So, if you eat a steak (which adds protein, fat and the accompanying calories, but no carbs) you should expect to see your percentage of carbohydrates go down because your total calories for the day went up without adding any addition carbs.0
