Can you eat at maintenance but still lose inches?

I'm 5ft4 and I weigh 53.1kg. According to the NHS someone of my height should not weigh any less than 49kg. My waist size is 32 inches (it was 35 before I joined MFP). My aim is to have a waist size of 30inches because that's the recommended size for someone of my age, disposition and ethnicity. I'm fairly slim everywhere else UK size 8 and I was planning to increase my calorie intake in a couple of weeks to transition into maintenance. I was wondering can I still lose inches eating at maintenance if I still do strength training? For strength training I do pilates.

I've never done Pilates so I can't really comment on that specifically, but yes, you can lose inches while maintaining your weight.

Yes you can, you should probably look into upping your protein goals and lessen carbs withing your mainteance calories. I am not trying to preach that carbs are evil, but increasing your protein will help you build more muscle so that would help you towards your goals. If you go to your home screen and click goals, at the bottum change goals, select to set your own, MFP will already have your calories in the box so you can leave those if you like but adjust your percents for the carbs, fat, and protein.
