Okay well I've been working out from home for years now and I've tried a few things such as hip hop abs, Kim kardashian workouts, walk away the pounds, some Jillian michaels DVDs, and my favorite is a step workout that came with my step.
I'm looking for a few new DVDs to add to my list because I really burnt out of the ones I've used for years and because of that I've stopped prioritizing working out. I like to have a variety, and I'm really focused on losing weight now.
The main thing is I try new DVDs a lot but I need instruction and to start slow then pick up the pace. I just tried a Denise Austin tape today and I did it alright I just got lost because she jumped into new moves without any explanation or preview of what that move would be so by the time I figured out the coordination of the move she was on to the next one.
I'm just lost as to how to find any DVDs for beginners that are efficient and give some instruction. Any help is appreciated!

Just a tip on following the DVD's. It might be good to sit and watch the DVD without doing the workout once or twice. I also found it takes about 2 or 3 times through a workout before I feel comfortable with the movements and the transitions.
I'm doing Power 90 right now. The workout video itself is kind of dated looking. I have some slight concern of it getting a bit repetitive after a few weeks. Overall, I'm pretty happy with the progress I've made in 1.5 weeks. I kind of wish I had a video of my first time through the workouts. It was probably comical.0 -
There are 3 levels of the Chris Powell Extreme Makeover Weightloss Edition workout up on youtube. They're pretty good. If you're in decent shape you can use the first one as a warm up for the 2nd or 3rd levels.0

I'm loving T25 and it's definitely a program that you can grow from even if you're starting out as a beginner. But don't forget youtube! I know that the first level of 30 Day Shred is on there. Then there's fitness channels. I like Blogilates, Zuzka Light, BeFit, Sparks People, Sarah Fit, and LiveStrongWoman are great channels with beginner to advanced workouts. A lot of the actual sites have some calendars too. But if you want a to do DVD's my recommendations would be T25, Body Revolution (love it!), or Turbo Fire because there are lots of ways to modify, but they're challenging enough to be able to keep pushing yourself as you progress.0

Go on YouTube and look up the workouts there . I got the Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred free. It's easy to follow and there are tons of other exercise videos, yoga everything at all levels.0

Leslie Sansone - she has a one mile walk with very easy steps that she shows at the beginning of the DVD. I have one of her DVDs with a one mile, two, three, and, gasp, four mile walk on it! When I first started getting back in shape last year, I couldn't even finish the one mile walk without being dizzy and faint, I was that bad. She was really motivating without being hard at all! Good luck0

I agree with Leslie Sansone! I have her Ultimate 5 Day Walk video and love it! It burns a lot of calories and you will smile and feel good doing it. I love Leslie!0
