Exercise and Not hungry

Ok I have looked for this topic, not finding what I am looking for.
Here we go, I have been given the number of 1200 calories a day, which I do eat but not always my net calories of 1200. I usually walk at my lunch for 2 miles or 1 mile uphill on my treadmill. Then I exercise 40-50 minutes a night with weights and cardio 4-5 nights a week..
The problem I have is I am not eating back my calories, because I work out before dinner and when I eat dinner I am not hungry so I still have major calories to consume. I realize you can eat before going to bed but I was always told not too..
I have found since I started during the weights with cardio my hungry level has dropped, I realize I need to consume more calories because I get light headed when working out or I have to give myself a two day recoup period because my body doesn't have the energy to keep up that pace.
My current stats are
Female
5'6"
167.4
45 yrs young
How do you eat enough to keep moving?

If you're struggling to eat in the evenings then you should try eating more through the day.
Look for calorie dense foods if you don't feel you can eat much more volume of food.
For example, add a banana at breakfast, avocado at lunch and a handful of nuts as a snack and right there you've added an extra 400-500 cals for not much food. Similarly, a tablespoon of olive oil on your vegetables will add another 100 cals.
As a further tip, you are using a lot of cup measurements for your food portions. While this is better than eyeballing, it is still not particularly accurate so if possible it's better to use a weighing scale to be sure you know how much you're eating.0 -
I am going to purchase a food scale this weekend, but how is that to help me eat more.. I try to eat more during the day and feel like I am over eating... Maybe it is all in my head right now because I really want to shed this weight0

I literally eat all day. It's all in your head. When you portion/weigh everything out accordingly you will realize how much you can/should eat. And if you are overweight, chances are you, at least at some point, liked to eat. I love food. I love to eat. So I make it that I can eat lower calorie snacks all day or whatever the case may be.
