So I was backed up in the poo dept for a few days and had to do magnesium citrate lax yest per gi doc reccomendation...lots of diarrhea and still have some today. was up a lb this morning...how is that possible? I would think with being cleared out I would be down. Stomach still very distended and all gurgly. Is this water retention or something? It is an osmotic lax.

One lb gain during a time to GI distress is not something to freak out about. Just stick to your plan.

Up a pound does not mean up a pound of fat.

GI distress does weird things... Just try to stay off the scale while your body readjusts. Drink plenty of fluids and relax.
