It's a blog all about Pilates that you can find here - http://www.blogilates.com/
Cassey (who runs it) makes loads of pilates workout videos and then has a calendar every month to work out with.
She also has a beginner's calendar that we're going to try. You should join us!!

Cassey is very motivating! make sure u do your measurements before u start the calendar so u see how many inches u have lost after u have finished!

I've just finished the first video and it was rest but quite difficult!
The first move was the hardest I think, or doing the circles with your leg.
    Looking forward to tomorrow :)

I got about 10 minutes into the very first video and besides my kids harassing me, i stopped because I couldn't figure out how to even do the warm up without straining my neck smh. Spaz Spaz spaz

I love Blogilates! Cassey is amazing and so inspiring!! I jumped back in and getting ready for day 4 on the beginner calendar. I am definitely in! I've done some of her other workouts before. I can't do everything, I do a lot of modified until I can get stronger. :) feel free to add me!! We all can use encouragement and inspiration! :))

My body shook when I did the plank. Lol I finally got my phone to download all the videos for day 4. :) I definitely felt the burn!! The quiet cardio wore me out in just the 6+ minutes. Stretching for flexibility felt pretty good!...except the 'bridge' aka a back bend. I did them in high school but have been out for 10+ years! I had to do the modified version and that one was tough for me! Loved the Bubble Butt workout. Last video for today. Whew!! Did I mention the 10 burpees to start the day?!?!
I enjoyed every minute of these workouts! :)
My body is definitely feeling it! Haha

I am so glad I found this! I didn't do my plank yet but I will. Now that I know there are different daily activities I will stay on track!

I really like it because its like she's carrying on a conversation with you and she's so upbeat. Before you know it, you're at the end of the workout!

    Hi everyone :-)
I am loving the beginners calendar so far. Those banana/twist combos from Day 3 were tough ones but I really enjoyed doing them. Cassey is so fun to listen to, I can't wait to see what I'll look like at the end of the month. I feel better already :) Today is Day 4 which I'll tackle when it's cooler outside. It's just too hot here in Aus. today.

    Best of luck!

Can I join y'all? I'm not doing the Beginners Calendar. I'm doing the January one instead but I would love some fitness buddies on here who are doing Blogilates! I find the monthly calendar so hard but the Beginners is just a little to easy for me so I'm stuck struggling through the Monthly.

    Its open this month
  • Going to start the Blogilates beginners calendar later today! I always try to do it but for some reason or another stop after a few days. This time I'm determined to finish the whole thing and I hope that I manage to keep it up and it shows some results! Hopefully posting and discussing it with you guys will help motivate me into completing it! I've printed out the calendar and will start it later today.

Could we almost make it into a challenge/daily diary kind of thing? Like a post every time after you've done it

    E.g.
    Day 1 - Completed
    Day 2 - Completed etc.

I'm personally going to start on the beginners calendar, but I'm sure this will work for everyone whose trying out any of Cassey's workouts? Just think that this way, I have my motivation and will definitely try my hardest to complete it!
  • Just found this thread! Are you guys still working on the calendar? This is my 2nd week going at it and I'm surprised at how disciplined it's kept me. Did the Till the World Ends challenge today and it killed, hahah.
  • I just started the beginner calendar today. I am skinny fat (barely though, just a little bit of flab on my thighs, butt, and stomach) I mainly need to just tone up! especially before vacation in may. if i do the beginner calendar for this month and continue with a march calendar and an april calendar and also some of a may calendar will i see results? has anyone seen results? i am pairing this with (mostly) healthy eating and cardio 2-3 times a week.

also id like to add that ive tried a lot of workouts and none seem to work for me. i did the squat challenge and i only noticed a slight difference. i think thats why im so anxious to see results! i just dont wanna do all of this hard work (and get excited!) to be let down.
