Hello Ladies, so I have a dilemma. I am trying to bulk up my legs and add some size/mass but dont know where to start. I know nothing about weights, reps or anything so please share your experience on how you were able to gain bigger legs or if any of you are currently on the same mission or have any suggestions

Check out New Rules of Lifting for women, a lot of people recommend that book.
People also recommend convict-conditioning,
If you belong to a gym see about taking an intro seminar or a weight lifting class.
Start out with bodyweight exercises and lighter weights, a good weight to start is one that takes effort to do 8-15 reps
I find a lot of exercises from bodybuilding.com
Reps(Repetitions) are how many times you do a motion (ie take a step up, so 10 steps) in a set
Sets are how many times you do the set of repetitions (3 sets per 10 reps)
you rest in between sets.
To bulk up you will need to eat more then if you wanted to lose weight and make sure you get protein.0 -
Squats are my go to for everything. Start with body weight and add weight as you get more comfortable. Dumbbells are good, barbells are better (although scary for beginners, I highly recommend taking the plunge). Go on YouTube and look up videos on how to do different types of squats. I also really like lunges ( even though I say differently while actually doing them ). If you have a gym membership there are lots of machines for you to work on your legs with, just ask a staff member or trainer. Most of the time, they'll not only show you what to use but how to use it properly and give you lots of tips. Good luck, there's a method for every person so just try it all until you find what works for you.0

Check out Strong Curves (book) by Bret Contreras which focuses on leg and butt work.
In terms of gaining size, you need to eat a calorie surplus. Use this calculator to estimate how much you should be eating to gain muscle. http://scoobysworkshop.com/calorie-calculator/0 -
