Hi all,
Four years ago, I become smokefree.... Ever since then my weight hasn't been the same!! I found out it's emotional eating. 12 years ago my daughter was taken to be adopted NOT MY CHOSE OF MY OWN . Ever since her loss I turned to food rather than dealing with it. Now! She will be 13 this coming week and it wont be long before she comes home. I have contact by letters and photos twice a year from her. She knows WHO I'm. but the pain doesn't seem to stop!! So food is my comferte.
Now I'm starting to seek cancerlling & have been for about a month. I cant seem to stop crying. The worst thing is I work at mcdonalds and contains FAT FOOD & EMOTAIONL FOOD TOO

Just a suggestion that you move this post to the weightloss forum, not gaining weight x
ETA: and your other post should also be in the weightloss or introductory forum not success stories :flowerforyou:0 -
I'm new I only sign up last night, so I am looking around so I said my peace0

Also my goal is to be healthy, inside and out as I suffer from epilepsy and have done all my life... I also have curvature of the spine too but that does not stop me on becoming healthy in my mind soul and heart0

Yes and thats perfectly fine, I hope you find some good advice here but in the future, it is best to stick to the correct forums as posting this in 'Gaining Weight' may be triggering or unhelpful for people actually trying to gain for whatever reason :flowerforyou:
Just my advice, not having a go :drinker:0 -
Theoretically, you can 'lose' weight by just eating mcdonalds as long as it's calories out > calories in. ( it's unhealthy so don't, but just saying)
if you are an emotional eater, buy 'healthy' snacks with low kcal and snack on veggies/nuts, etc0 -
Sounds like you have had some very rough challenges and painful experiences in your life. Sorry you have had to go through that.
I would suggest you check out Overeaters Anonymous. You can visit their website and listen to some of their podcasts. The LA group has some great ones. Attend a few meetings.
You will meet people with varied life experiences who experience painful emotional issues and are learning to turn away from the overeating.0
