Is this funny or unfair?

I just saw a friend posted this video to facebook, and while I know it's supposed to just be a joke, I found myself feeling like it was quite offensive. When I'm at the gym 3 times a week at 7am I'm certainly not calling a friend while reading a magazine on the treadmill, I'm sweating a working out testing my limits.

Maybe I'm overreacting? I think it's pretty unfair to women, and seems to imply all men are meatheads who want to touch up women, which is also pretty unfair really.

    I might find this especially funny, as the other day I had to wait on a bunch of women taking up the equipment I wanted to use. They did maybe sets of 8 reps, followed by 10-15 minutes of gossip about work and their plans for bar-hopping later. :angry:

    I've seen this before but I just realized I run like the runner girl in the forest complete with dramatic OMG I'm gonna die poses and the ability to straighten right up if a hot guys around.

    I also gulp things heartily like the 2 girls chatting at the juice bar.

    The whole thing is hilarious and IMO does NOT imply generalizations about either group but just takes the most hilarious examples of what might happen at a gym and uses those to switch roles to point out what we are willing to accept from both genders and how ridic they actually both are. It's the outliers of gym behavior on blast. Not "most women" or "most men" IMO.

    I've belonged to several gyms in several cities and I've maybe seen one or two women behave that way ever.

    It's a joke regarding stereotypes... I think I'd only find it offensive if it applied to me. It doesn't so I don't.

    it's just a joke cause before we get it right, like you have (not being sarcastic), many of us struggle, it is fun to laugh at it since many of us have been like these ppl

    I've seen this and I say it's hilarious :) No, not everybody fits into the roles they indicate in the video but that doesn't make it any less humorous. Just laugh and move on....
