Im 94kg with 24% bodyfat.
I want 10% bf.
So my lean mass is 94x0.76 = 71.5kg.
With 10% bf that equals 71.5x1.1 = 78.6kg.
Which means i need to lose 94-78.6 = 15.4kg to get to my goal.
So thats say 15 weeks at a loss of (according to mfp app) 1kg/week.
Make sense?!

1kg a week is too fast.
with only 15 (or about 34lbs) aiming for 1/2kg a week loss is better...until you get to about 4-5 kg from goal then lower it to .3kg that way you are eating enough food and it is more sustainable.0 -
Yes, for a starting goal that makes a lot of sense. Keep in mind that as you lose, especially if you are exercising which you must be to have that kind of goal, that the final number may be different than your calculation. Your calc of pounds to lose is dependent on your current body fat %. if you lost those extra 15.4 kg, if it was all fat, your final weight would depend on whether you gained muscle in the process.
I used to be pretty good at math, and I think I'm right.0 -
unless youre weight training getting to your goal weight will leave you looking skinnyfat if you drop that much that fast0
