50 pounds down!! (with pics)

Hey, guys! So, I've finally hit 50lbs down (well, 49.5, but who's counting), and I'm just bursting to tell somebody! I'm so close to Onederland I can taste it, and even though I'm probably only about halfway to my goal, I'm still really proud of myself for making it this far!

In the past eight months, I've started exercising and was surprised to discover that I love lifting and -gasp- running! You couldn't have PAYED me to run before. I've also improved my general health a lot, and my blood tests have gone from meh to sparkling clean and fantastic. My body feels strong and healthy, and my knees don't hurt anymore, a persistent pain I didn't realize was effecting me as much as it was to until it was gone. And lastly, I've gone from a size 18/20 to a size 12!! I wasn't even this small in high school!

So, forgive me, but just for today, I'm going to toot my own horn, haha. ^^

    Good job! I know how difficult it is. I too started at a size 20 and now wear a 12.... I have lost 49.1 pounds and I am so proud. Be proud of your hard work and accomplishments.
