trying to stay motivated

I would love to make some more friends on here. I currently have ONE haha. I dont have much of a support system going for me right now. My husband is a locomotive engineer so he is sadly gone most of the time :( and is also not quite as gung-ho about getting fit as I am. I've been using myfitnesspal for a while now, but i only just recently started utilizing the community aspect of it.
I'm a mother of two, 24 years old. I started losing weight when i left my bartending job back in may of last year (gained 35lbs at that terrible job!) and started roofing. I only lost 10lbs doing that but boy was it work out. I gained a lot of muscle, though. Then I got a membership at the gym and lost another 15-20lbs, combining daily workout with dieting. We picked up and moved to another town, where i have a membership at the YMCA, but we live about 25 miles from it so i sadly never go :( it's just too hard to want to take 2 hours out of the day to pack up the kids and drive around and THEN work out, but im starting to really miss it. SOOOOOOO now i've started the 30 day shred and am loving it! i'm only on day 9, but i've already lost inches and have significantly increased my endurance. im finding myself wanting to do more than just the 20 min video but am having trouble finding something that i can still do at home and that wont totally kill me while combined with the 30DS. if anybody has any suggestions that would be great!

Ever thought about picking up some resistance bands or kettle bells? That is 98% of what I use at home. Just about everything you can do at the gym you can do at home, I would be glad to help you in any way I can.

Hey there, you are clearly motivated which is great - especially if your missing the gym that much! 30 day shred is amazing and works wonders. As DJMikey1 mentioned there are loads of videos on YouTube and loads of different work outs you can do in the comfort of you own home.

Feel free to add me if you want to support one another, you seem very determined which is awesome :-) xx

Anyone can free to add me too. I'm fairly new to MFP. I've had an account for a while but just started getting serious about logging my food a exercise last week.
