It's not "IF" it's "WHEN"

I've decided not to doubt my weight loss/fitness abilities anymore. Sure the scale hasn't moved in a few days and has even gone even after tons of calories burned and consistently staying under my calorie goal. I am convinced it's because I'm gaining muscle and maybe eating too much sodium. So I'm going to continue what I'm doing, cut down on the sodium, drink more water and stop weighing myself each and everyday. Once a week tops. So my message for you all today: With a positive attitude you can do anything. With a positive attitude, you are halfway to your goal!

If you're eating too far below your minimum goal, that could be why as well. Try to get as CLOSE to your daily goal, work on MEETING fiber & protein first and try to stay under on carbs and sugar. Eat good fats like avocado, olive oil, nuts, etc. You also may need to adjust your macronutrients. Go to dietitian.com/bodycalc.php and fill it out the best you can and it should give you a pretty accurate estimate of what you should be eating and how much. It's a lot more accurate than MFP's automatic settings.

Absolutely and completely. I find myself managing my attitude more than anything else. This is for life, this is for me, this is about diligence and commitment and putting one foot in front of the other. Stick with it, and we'll all get there.

If you keep doing what you're doing every day for the rest of your life, it IS a matter of when. YOU CAN DO IT!!!

    And stay off that scale!

  • Try not to think to much about what the scale says, although I know how hard that can be. I was at a stand still for a month and a half and it finally started moving downward again a couple of weeks ago and I have lost 4lbs in two weeks. When your body is starting to reshape it wont show on a scale but it will eventually start coming off consistantly again but then you will most likely hit another wall. It happens, the body is a weird, cruel thing sometimes but if you keep doing what your doing you WILL loose the weight :)
