Hi all,
I make this recipe every year- it is always a hit :) This time I am making it low fat!
Here it is:
6oz pkg of Rasperry Jello
1 can of Whole Berry Cranberries(oceanspray is the best)
1 1/4 cup water
1 can crushed Pineapple
8 oz Cream cheese (low fator no fat)
Cool Whip (low fat or no fat)
Walnuts(optional)
Bring water to boil in pan, add Jello. Stir until desolved. Let cool. Add Cranberries. Stir. Add Walnuts and Pineapple with juice. Stir mixture. Put in cake pan. let it set in the fridge. After it is set up, mix cream cheese and cool whip together and spread on top. Serve cool :)
Hope you enjoy!!
and p.s.- I love this and I dont even like cranberries. Also you can use different Jello if you want I have used orange, cherry, and blueberry - they all tasted great

Sounds intriguing. Pity we don't have Thanks Giving here, but I will save your recipe for Christmas.

Sounds good. My mom makes one like this but doesn't put the topping on. Still good but this of course sounds better. I love cream cheese!
  • Is this Cranberries in the Snow or something like that? Boyfriend's grandma made it last year and I LOVED it. I asked for the recipe and OF COURSE she didn't give it to me! Hmmmpf! :ohwell:
