I can't seem to lose any weight

I've been working out for about 7 months now, and when I first started I weighed about 170 pounds and I was eating kinda badly. I stopped eating badly about 2 months after that, and for the past two months, I"ve been eating under 1000 calories a day.
The problem is: In 8 months, I've only lost about 3 pounds. Three.
I don't eat badly, I'm 18 years old, and I'm also at a complete loss of what to do.
Please. Please help.

Firstly I doubt the validity of your calorie consumption...
In some cases, people who claim they can’t lose weight by cutting calories underestimate their food intake by 47%, and overestimate their exercise levels by 51% Other data has shown that people can underreport their food intake by up to 2,000 calories per day
When people are in a caloric deficit, they always lose weight.
Also consuming under 1000 calories a day is dangerous and unhealthy

Tell us all your stats: age, height, weight, gender, TDEE, BMR
and, if your diary isn't open, that would help.0 -

actually it's entirely possible, people who are metabolically damaged due to yo-yo dieting can have trouble loosing weight .. even at extreme caloric deficits. Look at your past 3 year diet history, how many times you've been on low cal diets … then if often… look into metabolic damage.0
