Hey everyone....

so today is my first day on here, hoping it goes well as I have heard a lot of positive feedback from this site.

Heres a little bit about me....

I live in Dagenham with my parents, enjoying the single life, love West Ham and socialising

work full time as a manager in a pub

My goal is to lose 44pounds.

    Wow. Working at a pub presents special challenges. Food and drink everywhere. Definitely record your food intake. There's an ongoing debate whether one should add calories burned to the calorie daily allowance. MFP automatically adds it. I've begun to add some but not all whenever I have an especially intense workout. It's something to consider.

    Don't lose hope if you see slow progress! You're changing a lifestyle, not just dress sizes. It will take time. Good luck!

    Everybody's different, and weight loss takes a whole lot of trial & error to find what works for you.

    Welcome!
    This is my 2nd time on here and find it works better if you have a group of really good active friends. My first attempt I was on my own and just gave up but since coming back last summer have found the support network absolutely brilliant.

    I have a similar amount to lose, also work full time and a single parent and for my sins support Man Utd (don't start lol).
