Hi all- Today is my birthday! I'm 35 today and weight loss is not getting easier. That being said I'm done with all the holidays, vacations for a while and I'm going to copy a good MFP friend and write on a calendar. If I'm under 1400 calories I"ll get a pink and over I'll get a yellow. If I workout, I can eat those calories and still get a pink, but it has to be not over the net 1400 calories. So basically I have to stay under what MFP gives me plus workout. I'll allow myself 2 yellow's a month for special day's etc. My goal is not going to be agressive because that's where I've failed in the past. 1 pound a week and I'll be back to 140 by June 1, in time for summer. Not bad, that 1 pound a week will add up!!!! I can do this, it's written down and I'm doing it MFP! I know I've said this before, but I want it bad, as it's my birthday and not getting younger. And I've been moody and all my clothes are tight. This is no way to live and I need this. Right now I'm 162 and 5'7" and that by no means is high, but for me it's uncomfortable. By June 1 I could be 140 at the pound a week and I don't want to live summer miserable like this! Please friend me if you are in a similiar situation, are eating healthy to do this (not starve) and have reasonable goals like me. I'm a busy mom of 2 and could use further motivation and friends!

I lost about 22 pounds from October to December last year, but then I went on vacation for New Years. I gained a little over vacation, and since then I've been eating pretty much whatever I wanted. My anniversary is June 12th and I would like to be my at goal weight by then! Right now I'm at 18 pounds lost and my goal is 32 pounds.
5 Feet 5 Inches. Current weight is 140. and my goal weight is 125. Total to lose before my anniversary = 15 pounds!
Keep it up! Feel free to add me!0 -

You have a really reasonable goal. 1 lb a week is really healthy, you should be able to keep it off through healthy living. Im excited for you! Add me if you like, I have 30 lbs to goal and Ive lost 83 lbs this last year using MFP. I love my friends on here and believe the best way to do this thing is by talking about it, logging EVERYTHING good and bad and getting advice from friends that are doing it! Summer 2014 baby! YEA0
