Sitting here having a night cap in my MTV cup, makes memories come about. What was your favorite MTV video? For me, I liked Take on Me, Take on Me! Remember it?

    omg - remember when MTV had videos?? haha. I bought that same cup at Target for our fabulously tacky gift exchange party - mine was the 80's kit - MTV cup, aqua net hairspray, scrunchies and leg warmers. lol.

    I LOVED any video by Depeche Mode, The Smiths, Flock of Seagulls or The Cure because apparently, I loved gay musicians lol.

    First video I ever saw was Stevie Nicks and Tom Petty singing "Stop Draggin' My Heart Around." The coolest thing ever to see music on television in that format! My favorite MTV commercial was in late '82, early '83 when there is a teenage boy sitting on the couch watching MTV and the Grim Reaper shows up. The boy is like, "Ah. Can I finish watching my program fist?" Grim agrees...and then you see Grim sitting on the sofa next to the boy and you hear the announcer's voice, "MTV - Music Television. All day. All night," Ha. Grim was so disappointed. I miss the original MTV format!

    Heart's video for "All I Want to Do Is Make Love to You". I still remember when you say that little boy and his eyes. Holy crap. I'm sure my parents appreciated me walking around singing that one.
