Hair Care,

Hey everyone!

So I have really thick and long hair. It's also wavy and curly. I rarely straighten it and don't usually use any products on it so for the most part it's healthy. But recently it's not felt as soft as it used to and it gets frizzy really easily.

Any suggestions on shampoo, conditioner, or other treatments and brands that I can use to make it smoother and softer? A little shine added to it to would be pretty great

Thanks!

Moroccan argan oil. I also have long, thick, wavy hair. I use cheap drug store stuff for shampoo and conditioner.
  • I mix up one avocado, 1/2 c of almond milk, 2 eggs and a tablespoon of coconut oil for a hair mask once a month. Awesome conditioning treatment. The coconut oil alone is great for frizz control/shine. There are tons of hair serums at beauty salons as well.

Almond oil. I wack it on my hair once a week & wrap it up in a towel. Leave it 20-30 mins to let the warmed oil penetrate it. Apply shampoo before water when removing it. Voila shiny smooth hair.

    TOTALLY!

But if you do not do it right it will make your hair look worse. I love the weekly deep treatment and the oils.

If you shop with QVC they have it and I would get it from there as they have great deals. I haven't ordered through the infomercial but a lot of them are connected to auto shipments and people have had a hard time getting out of.

White vinegar does the trick for me. Shampoo rinse vinegar rinse then conditioner and rinse. I used to have very long straight hair and it worked great for me!

Mane 'n Tail. Ignore the fact it is made for horses.

I used this back in the day. Walmart sells it in the pet care section, even though nobody actually uses it for horses.

Mane 'n tail totally works so does wen. Also for the shine and softness try organic coconut oil once or twice a week that's what I do

I have long thick spiral curly hair and I use argan oil mostly. I also wash my hair with a cheaper conditioner like suave for cleansing and then a more expensive brand like matrix for curly hair for conditioning. I rarely use shampoo as it tends to dry out my hair making it super frizzy and impossible.
