I Can't Believe I Did It!

Well, my friends, today is a good day. A great day. I can't believe I did it. I climbed onto my treadmill this morning and did a 5K. It was slow (48 mins) and I had to stop to walk 3 or 4 times, but I did it. My lungs behaved, I wasn't sick. Big deal, you say? For someone with lung cancer, you bet your boots it is. I think I'll go and make something yummy for lunch to celebrate.

Yes, it's a great day. :happy:

    Good for you! Lung cancer, wow! My MIL didn't survive it, but with your strength, I'm sure you have the best chances! Keep up the great work!

    I was pretty happy earlier this year when I was able to do a 5K as well. However, you are amazing with what you've accomplished! Congratulations and keep up the great work! You are truly amazing!:happy:

    AWESOME! Its is a huge deal! I just ran a 5K and looking at the results, if you were a man who was age 25-29 you would have come in 28th place for that age group!!! If you can beat the young boys you are doing awesome! For your own age group on the one I just did you would have kicked butt, too!
