Hello, just wondering how people get their meat logs accurate. I can never seem to find the right cut of meat to log. Example - lean ground beef - which one do you use? pork ribs? chicken legs with skin but u don't eat the skin? Any tips please......Thx

  • I look at the label on the package, then use my scale to be sure I have the portion size correct.
If precisely what I'm eating isn't in the system, I add it.

Any meat that I buy doesn't have nutrition labels.....well except for lunch meats and canned meat

There are entries from MFP... 95% ground beef, 90% ground beef. Raw or cooked. I just pick the one I need (usually cooked, as we cook a big batch at once). You can find MFP entries because they don't have a * before them.
