Maybe someone can help me with a couple questions, this is my second day and it's been a little over whelming right now. I just turned 60 and have been working out with my husband in the gym. I do an hr of cardio and until recently was lifting heavy in the gym with my husband being my trainer and helping me. In the last few years I have put on 20lbs and it seems whatever I do it does not come off. I know being at my age along with taking hormones it is even harder. Last week my orthopedic surgeon told me not to lift heavy weights anymore at my age plus I had hand surgery March 2013 and I've had some issues. He gave me two cortisone shots in my left hand, oh my did that hurt. He sd to lift light with more reps. I don't know how to do that so I quit lifting heavy this week and started pump classes and things like that until I can find personal trainer to show me a light weight training routine. I'm sad about that because that was quality time me and my husband spent in the gym together helping each other. Anyways here are two questions I have right now.
1. I just entered my food for today and I'm a little confused. Yesterday I ate a little over 1220 calories and sd I would almost get to my goal weight in five weeks. Well today I ate 1229 calories and it sd if I continue to eat like this I would weigh more, like 7 lbs more than what it sd yesterday. I did overeat the amt of protein it says I should have but was way low on my carbs. Don't know if that md the difference. Thought this went for total caloriesin a day. Since I work out almost everyday am I suppose to eat those extra calories it says I have or can I just ignore that and maybe will lose faster? Trying to stick to low carb diet cause me and carbs don't go together. That's where I get into trouble with my weight.
2. Where do you change your start date? The IPad app shows I'm on day four while the website does not show this.
Thank you

I can answer the second question...
to edit the start date.. go 'my Home', then click 'Check In' like you would if you were adding your weight. At the bottom of the box, it says 'Edit previous entries'. click that. You will have to delete any old entries before your new start date.0 -
Thank you.
Is there a place where we can get recipes that other people share. Like a database just for recipes?0 -
