TDEE with or without body fat %

Using the IIFYM TDEE calculator, if I choose the Mifflin-St Jeor Calc my BMR is 1596 and my TDEE is 2194. If I choose the Katch-McCardle option, which uses body fat %, my BMR Is 1333 and my TDEE is 1832.

I figured out my body fat percentage using a tape measure, which I know is not accurate, but I wanted some kind of bouncing off point. Should I not use my body fat to figure TDEE since I am not sure of it?

I am trying to figure out TDEE - 20%, but I don't know which to use. Probably not a huge difference in the long run, but enough to give me pause.

I had the same issue, I just shot down the middle of my numbers and went for 1800, I'm trying this for a month to see how I get on and will tweak it if needed :)

    Use the lower numbers.
