This is my question as well, and how well does it work for lifting workouts?

My question too. I really was interested in getting one but keep going back and forth wondering if since I'm not doing cardio if it's a good investment or at this point not important

its a fairly good calorie tracker specially if you're an average user. I just got a polar ft4 which tracks down a more precise calorie burn and have worn them both. The result was pretty close, if you work out more including weight lifting I would suggest getting the Polar fitness watch. I do love my fitbit and it has not heart sensor (one thing less to worry).

You still have to enter in your lifting time/calories on myfitnesspal. The fitbit only counts steps. The bonus is this site and fitbit site are compatible and informaiton is constantly shared.

Go to their website. If you save your receipt and something happens/goes wrong with your fitbit they will usually replace at no charge. They have excellent customer service.

I have a fitbit force too! I love it! I use My Fitness Pal to log all my food and the FitBit site to log my activities so it can use everything it calculates and everything I log to figure out my calories burned in a day. Then they talk to each other and it all gets added together! It's awesome. Always looking for good supports/friends on both MFP and fitbit. Add Me! :)
