    Wii u zumba calories?

    My wii u zumba game says I burned 916
    In my 40 minute class. I key it into my app for 40 minutes and it says 600 something calories. Which is more accurate?

      I have that same issue with the Zumba Rush on Xbox Kinect. I think it way overestimates calories burned. I feel like I'm working hard but not 900+ calories in 50 minutes hard. To put it into perspective, full out running at 10 mph would burn about 1,000 calories for someone my size. Calorie burn apps tend to show more like 450 calories burned in the same amount of time doing Zumba which is roughly half of what the Xbox shows. In the long run I'd rather underestimate my burn than overestimate it and be disappointed with my progress.

      Same issue here with the Zumba Rush for x-box. I wear a heart rate monitor and sunday it had me at 490 for a 50 minute medium length class, and the xbox said I burned over 1,000. When I key it in on MFP I find the estimate they give to be closer to my HRM. Sometimes its under, but usually only 20-30 calories.
