I couldn't stop craving pizza - until I saw the huge chunk crappy frozen gluten free pizza took out of my daily allotment. Doesn't keep me away from the Dove chocolate and wine tho0

Why why why did you have to post this?
Now all I can think about is chocolate cake.0 -

That looks really yummy. But I am making great progress and I don't want to stop. I view this craving as: if I eat that piece of chocolate cake, what's to stop me from eating another piece? So on and so on.0

I can totally understand that= not everyone can give into there cravings and not over eat. I will say that for me *personally* I can stop with just one piece. If I don't give into the craving, that's when things start getting out of control!0 -

Same here! I can stay from sugar just fine, but I freaking love salt!0 -
Actually, I feel like the fact that I can eat whatever I want (in small amounts) helps me to NOT crave things. I switched over to this from doing Atkins, and it took a while to realize, YES! I can have milk!! YES! I can have oatmeal!! And fruit, a cereal bar now and again. Even a small amount of mac n' cheese ... wow. Like one poster said, I do have trouble stopping sometimes (Rice Krispies Treats are NOT allowed in the house), but overall, I think the key is knowing we CAN eat what we want, that keeps me from bingeing!!0

I'm that way, too. I've learned to control myself, so I can have what I'm craving and not go off the deep end (e.g. the one Pop Tart and one piece of chocolate I had this morning). My grocery store sells cake by the slice and they have something that looks similar. I might have to get me some of this deliciousness this weekend.0 -
