I'm getting really bored with food choices for meals. Im not very creative when it comes to food for meals so was looking for some advice help and support.

These are my typical meal ideas

Breakfast
-Pancakes
-Waffles
-Eggs
-Toast
-Oatmeal
-Cereal

Lunch
-Soup
-Sandwiches
-Salad

Dinner
anything really

My biggest problems with each meal is Breakfast(actually eating since i a never hungry in the morning so it has to be a light meal), Lunch(finding a variety besides soups and sandwiches), and Dinner(staying away from too many fats or carbs-my family is big on pork chops and potatoes and hamburger helper)(note i do NOT eat porkchops because it makes me sick but i do like tonight have hamburger helper now and then.

Any advice or food suggestion is greatly appreciated. <3

    - High protein smoothies for breakfast
    - Use avocado or hummus instead of butter on your toast.
    - Frittata for breakfast or lunch. Load them up with mixed veggies.
    - Brown rice (watch portion -- I do 1/2 cup) and stir fried for breakfast, lunch and dinner :)

I love Greek yogurt. There was a long span where I'd eat it and granola for breakfast. I still eat Greek yogurt, but now I do it as a snack and try all the awesome flavors.

Lunch can be anything. Eggs with coconut oil, cheese, tomatoes. I do Sunnyside up eggs on toast sometimes. Chicken.

Dinner salmon, quinoa, broccoli is one of my favorites.

Also, why are you avoiding carbs and fats? Fats are important for your health and carbs help give you energy. In the context of a balanced diet, there should be unlimited options for your menu.

Mix it up: Make pancakes (1/3 c just add water pancake mix makes 2 good size pancakes for 180 calories), mix fat free greek yogurt (1/2 c) with diced peaches or strawberries (1/4 c), put between pancakes and on top, sprinkle with cinnamon - mmmmmmm, total calories less than 300 and you get your fruit and dairy. Add a 2 egg-white omelet with chopped veggies for another 50 calories, you'll walk away stuffed to the gills for less than 350 healty calories.

Lunch, if you're cooking, the omelet is good too, with veggies, and add a lean protein. If you have a Central Market or Whole Foods or similar foodie type grocery, try Dolmas for lunch, they are a mediterranean dish, grape leave wrapped around a grain stuffing, marinated in olive oil and lemon. VERY tasty, and only about 70 calories apiece. You can pair that with hummus and celery sticks (be careful, hummus is high in calories but very good for you- measure it carefully- serving size is only 2 Tablespoons), and Tabouli (a grain and parsley or cilantro salad, very tasty, but again, measure carefully).

Try fat free or low fat and low sugar snacks. I like pico de gallo (tomato, onion, cilantro, jalapenos, and salt) with celery or veggie chips (thinly sliced summer squash or other veggie that you can scoop with).

Play with your food, you will enjoy it more.
