personal shock!

It's kind of a Success story on a very small scale (no pun intended),
I'm a big muscular guy, people usually get shocked when I tell them that I'm 240-250lbs, always been like that and hopefully always be but with a better fat % and without my gut, and this is why I'm here,
after starting my new "life style" I start noticing I'm losing weight from all over my body! places I never really thought I have a lot of fat at!!! It make sense but I think only people with my body style will understand,

even with my arm just resting on my desk you can see my muscles and the veins popped out :

the difference:

the watch used to be snug on my wrist! same with my Fitbit One band when I go to sleep.

AWESOME RESULTS. I love when I see things getting bigger on me than they were before. It makes all the difference in the world. That is better than weighing myself on the scale any day.

    I can so relate!

I remember I was running my fingers on the inside of my forearm. I felt weird ridges...OMG do I have a tumor or something???? No it was just my veins that I could never feel before. LOL

That's great!! I have what I feel like are "larger" limbs haha. So when I see my wrists/forearms shrinking I can really tell that I'm losing weight. As weird as that sounds!

    Congratulations!!!

    Thanks :)
Yeah I'm so happy with my achievement so far, I also dropped couple of pant sizes :)

My inspiration to start this was couple of documentaries i saw on Netflix, "Fat Sick and nearly dead" and "hungry for change". if you haven't seen them yet I highly recommend them.

Great NSV! I've removed 3 links from my wrist watches over the past 2 years. Do yourself a favor and order a watch repair kit from Amazon for $7.99 or so. It's much cheaper than going to a jewelry store to have them remove the links..

Have u noticed that your shoes are more loose now??? I to was surprised by all the small yet significant changes that happen when u lose weight. I often have to try and explain this to my patients that wear dentures--they are going to get loose with the weight loss!!! Good for u--keep up the good work!!!!!!

Congrats! It's the little things, right?

Fat is very deceptive. Most people tend to significantly underestimate how much excess fat they're carrying. I too was a very big guy, much bigger than you at some point, who looked "solid". Nobody knows my starting weight, not even my wife, and I won't be revealing it until I get to goal. But I am 100% certain that people will be floored at how large I was, and that I had enough fat on me to lose half my body weight to get lean.

There is almost no such thing as having a fat gut, but everything else is "normal". Fat is stored all over. It's not until you start losing weight do you realize how much fat is carried in the legs, back, arms, on the FINGERS, everywhere. For me, I've always been more top heavy, like most guys, but I was floored at how much weight I lost on my legs.
