Do check ins adjust calorie goal?

I'm using mfp default method, guided food goals.
I'm new the the site and I'm only gonna be checking in every 2 weeks, this is the first day of my second week and I was wondering.
As I do my check in, does the food diary automatically adjust to account for my lesser weight?

It tells you when you should or you can just do it manually. I have not had it change automatically.0

When I go to my goals though it says guided updates automatically? How does this work then.0

When you log a weight and you have lost a certain amount of weight (for me it seems to be every 10 pounds) MFP will ask you if you would like to adjust your goals based on your new weight.
My interpretation... Guided - it adjusts your goals with your approval, Updates - updating your goals, Automatically - it sees you have lost enough weight to need to change your goals and asks you if you want to.0
