Narrowed it don to two polars which to buy?

I've been looking at HRM for awhile now and have narrowed it down to the Polar brand but cant decide between the ft7 and the ft60. It will be used mostly for when i am at the gym or when i go for walks around town. I like some of the features of the ft60 but afraid it might have too many features and will be too confusing. Anyone own either and can give pros and cons to help me out?

I dont remember what the number on mine is, but its pink :) I think it is the pretty basic one and I like it. I would say if you are worried the more features would confuse you, then get the one that has fewer feautures.

I have the Polar FT4 and I love it! It was around $60 online and it's pink (so maybe the same one as the poster above?) It tells me how long my workout was, calories burned during it, and it beeps when I enter specific heart rate zones. Perfect for what I needed. I've never used the FT7 or FT60 so I can't comment on those!

I went with the FT60 because I wanted the fit test/VO2Max estimation. I was also interested in the training program, and am finding the training program useful so far in pointing out the holes in my training (I needed to step up the intensity on a lot of my workouts).

I just feel like i've been running in circles with HRMs lol. I mostly just need to know calories burned but would also like activity times or even distance/speed. Just afraid if i get the simpler one i'll regret not having the features of the 60
