Momma looking to lose the baby pouch!!

My son is a year and a half now and I really want to get down to 135. I currently weigh 146.6 but I think I look a lot bigger because of the pooch my son has left me with! The past week I have completely cut out all fast food, junk food, soda and I have lost a little over 4 lbs. I have started to drink hot tea 3 times a day. I also do exercise videos on youtube and try to get in a 20 min work out everyday. I NEED to do this for me. I want to be happy with the way I look. And I am going to do it! <3

Well you've got the right attitude so that's a big start!! I too have a son but he's only 6 months old. Fortunately, I didn't gain a lot of weight and i've never carried my weight in my stomach but it's def there. I would suggest cutting out all PROCESSED carbs. At least for a while and see if you notice a difference. For most people processed carbs cause bloat. Still eat carbs in the way of fruits and vegis but ditch the bread and chips and oatmeal for a while and see if your stomach slims down. And drink LOTS of water!!! Good luck, love.

If you cut out all processed carbs, when you inevitably add them back into your diet, you will gain a little bit of water weight which most people equate with gaining back the weight they lost.

You don't need to temporarily completely alter your dietary habits. If you like bread and pasta, eat bread and pasta.

Just maintain a sensible calorie deficit and exercise, and you will lose weight.

You don't have to cut out any food. All you need is a moderate calorie deficit and perhaps a resistance training program ( I love me some heavy lifting). I had my second baby in May 2013
