I used to lift a little but that was many years ago. I am adding weights 3X a week, I have free weights at home. I know (or should I say remember) the basics..I think. Are there any good references or sites for an old fat broad to restart? I have 1, 3, 5, and 10 pound weights as well as the little weight balls I use while doing cardio. I will get more as I progress.
Also, I got one of those big balls for core work, anything in conjunction with those would be fantastic. Okay, I got two because they were pretty.

There is a great group on here called Stronglifts 5x5 for Women that I recommend highly.
What kind of weights do you have?0 -
Just hand weights
I got your invite to the group but am not sure where to find the groups?

I would start by picking them up, then putting them back down.0

Mmm. Well, that has already been accomplished but thanks for the sarcasm.0

Under the community tab there is a link for groups.
Does that help?0
