Yep! In just 3 months, too. Totally off "diabetic meds" and down to 1/2 of BP meds that I use to have to take. My doc says a couple more months and I should be "drug free"!!!!!

Yes my blood pressure is quite stable and I was able to go off 1 of the 2 medications. I am doing the diet AND exercise,
knowing that the exercise makes quite a difference. I hope to further reduce my medication in 2014!

Yup. Wasn't high just elevated. And it was probably a mix of the weightloss and my increased fitness through exercise. My resting puls has now also decreased to under 50bpm. Oh and my cholesterol levels are normal again. Never took meds, but they were a bit high before my weightloss.

My Blood pressure when I started losing weight wasn't very high, but the doctor was making warning noises. It was coming in around 140/80

Now it's at 110/60, thanks mainly I think to a lot of exercise and watching my sodium intake.....and losing a lot of weight

i did, i used to believe that high blood pressure is normal for some people(including me) as mine is always high.

but it becomes normal and sometimes in the optimal level since i've lost 20 lbs. and from 32% down to 18% body fat.

If anything, mine has gone up slightly since losing weight. It has always been on the low side though, and it's complicated by the fact that some of my medication has a side effect of lowering blood pressure.
