Weighing in in the morning or at supper time

It have a question about weighing in. I usually weigh in around supper but I noticed alot of people here weigh in first thing in the morning, I find the morning weight so much less than the supper weigh in. Question is, is there such a thing true weight and if so, is it the morning one or the supper one where I am around 3 lbs more? Thoughts appreciated.

Doing it in the morning allows some of the variability of daily eating/drinking to be removed from the equation, but as long as you're consistent, it doesn't matter.

I prefer 1st thing in the morning as well for similar reasons. Takes out daily variations and is more consistent.

I dont own a scale, so i always weigh in at the Y before my 930 workout class on wednesdays. There may be some fluctuations, but I figure since I'm doing it consistently, its not a big deal.

I weigh in the morning because I get my weight, not my food or water intakes weight. Yes go pee, weigh yourself

Thanks everyone... that makes total about the variations during day with food and water. I never thought of it that way. Morning it is.

I "weigh in" once a month. My pants and shirts tell me if I am on track or eating too much or exercising too little

I do it first thing in the morning before I eat anything that way it's petty consistent day to day. If I do it during the day it can fluctuate so much more
