Hi everyone,
I am a very busy mom of 5 teenage girls and a nurse. I am fantastic at taking care of everyone else, but recently my fiancé said "your light has gone out". Made me reflect on how I have stopped taking care of me, life isn't fun anymore, just work. So I think it's time to GET MY SHINE ON! I am blessed that my fiancé is financing a trainer for me. He suggested I start this app and find some individualism or separation from my kids & job. Please don't misunderstand, I cherish both dearly and thank God for my blessings daily.
Guess I am just looking for some others out there who might understand where I am coming from. I have 60 lbs to lose and definitely need some friends as well as motivation.

Hi!!! I am also a nurse and a mom to two boys 10yo and 8 months old. I am trying to lose 50 lbs but would be happy with 10-20 for now. I think I will feel happier, lighter and I think I will start to care what I look like on a daily basis. I am the same way that I take care of everyone else besides myself and because I only need to wear scrubs to work I never really buy clothes.
My husband is training for a triathalon to get himself into shape and has his friend who is also doing the training. I am no where near that type of training. I just ordered the T25 and I'm going to go to the gym on my days off even just to walk or do some light weights.0 -
I'm a single mom of two teens with a very full-time job. Stress brought on weight. Divorce dropped a lot. But then more stress brought it back. For my entire life every time i diet, i actually gain weight. I did Myfitness pal for like two weeks once and it actually helped but a very busy time came up and i quit paying attention. I got into fitness big time once about 10 years ago and felt invincible. I'd love to get back there!!! I also remember the reason i layed off the fitness was that i felt i was ignoring my family for myself (my children were small then). So any suggestions are greatly appreciated because I'm gonna do this right this time!!!0

Hi ladies,
I am a mommy to a soon to be 3 year old and a nurse also (although I have been a stay at home mom since we had our daughter.) Its so easy to fall into the trap of taking care of everyone else and taking on the world while putting yourself on the back burner. I have just recently decided since my daughter is getting a little more independent I need to start taking care of me a little. I have a good 37 pounds to lose.0 -
