I just recently bought and received my first jar of Nikki's Coconut Butter. Has anyone ever tried it before?
When I got it this morning, it was frozen!! The UPS guy didn't ring the bell so I had no idea it was out there. Anyway, I left it on the counter to come to room temp and it's still very hard, more like coconut oil. Is this normal? I just hope that I didn't ruin a $13 jar of coconut butter because I didn't know it was outside.
THANKS!!

In my experience coconut butter is always super hard. You can melt it to soften it up, but it's not naturally soft like other nut butters. It will probably also have a film of coconut oil settled on the top. Once you get under that, chip away at the butter - it's heaven!0
