    i'm also from the part of Jersey that still has farms, but i know absolutely nothing about chicken breeds.

    I do have excellent google skills however, and after careful review of various interwebs pics (and basing my decision purely on aesthetics) i think i am partial to the Plymouth Rock or Ayam Cemani. I also kinda like that goofy looking Silkie
