Hungry, weak, tired, out of energy.

Hi guys, for the past few days I have been extremely hungry, tired, weak and fatigued. I am extremely depressed and despite me eating better and losing weight, I am absolutely miserable. I can't become full, and I don't want to binge and gain the weight I lost. However I am struggling to keep my composure. Even though the past 3 days I've kind of had things I wasn't supposed to (calzone, chinese food), I feel worse than ever.

I don't know what to do. Yesterday my work out was so hard because I was so weak and tired. I am starving, I just ate a pretty big dinner but I'm still starving. What do I do? This is hell, and I don't want to get back on the wagon.

Please, any help or advice I can get would be much appreciated. Food and exercise journal for viewing.

You don't have to starve yourself. How many calories are you eating per day?

There are some of us that are really sensitive to calorie deficits. It does not take a big deficit to feel apathic and my lifts go way down. Can you put yourself at 1 pound loss a week.....it take longer but at least you won't feel as bad. Also make sure you have enough good fats.

On average how many pounds per week have you been losing? I know sometimes when you have more to lose you can get away with a bigger calorie deficty, but if you're exhausted and miserable all the time, that's probably a good indication the deficit you are on is too much for you. Especially if you're trying to work hard at the gym. If you are losing two or more pounds a week on the deficity you are currently on, I would say you seriously need to consider upping your calorie intake. The pounds may not come off as quickly, but you'll stay happier, and happier means you'll be more likely to stick with it for the long term.

    Good luck!
