Stomach cellulite!?

Options
I have some SERIOUS cellulite on my stomach. Has anyone had a similar problem and succeeded in lessening it? Are there certain foods that are supposed to be especially good for reducing the appearance of cellulite? Any bad ones to try and avoid? What about exercise? I'd appreciate help so very much!

I don't know any exercises.I remember seeing an article about how sodium makes it appear worse, and that drinking abundant water will help with reducing the appearance. Another reason to be well hydrated!

Never had the problem before but after my babies, its just not good.

I'm game for any advice. Cardio is all I know for stomach area issues.

I get the look of stomach cellulite right before my TOM ... so I wonder if more water/flushing will help. But from what I understand, cellulite is just there for the people who have it. You can shrink it, but not get rid of it.

    Good luck though!

not sure about foods to avoid but plenty of water, cardio(with ab/core exercises) may help. Also when I sold Avon years ago, the cellulite cream they have sold like crazy.I had a customer that bought it and swore by it.She said her hubby even noticed but you have to use it every single day and don't skip. Best of luck hun

Thanks, guys! Avon cream...hmm...I might give that a whirl. Has anybody else tried a cream and had it work? I'll also start upping my water and cardio!

i agree with everyone above, but if you do all you can do to get rid of it, then i would look into getting "lypossage" done. Its a form of massage that breaks up cellulite- done on the arms, stomach, and legs. it is intense, and painful, but WORKS. lypossage specialists are hard to find, but they are out there. good luck!

I have tried about 7 dollars ranging from $9-$78 and they didn't seem to work on my areas of lots of cellulite but diet and exercise made it less apparent. If you can find one that works, I would love to know!

3 months ago i weighed 51kgs, my stomach was really flat thanks to 200 sit ups a day for 2 months and dieting, at that time i had zero cellulite, now i gained 6 kgs its back and my stomachs all bumpy and uneven,

so i think weight has a lot to do with it, also if you use palmers stretch mark cream (with a drawing of a pregnant woman on the front ) everyday it tones the skin and fades stretch marks, was voted #1 stretchmark cream.

toning is key. start with 100 situps a night, you quickly get fitter and can do more within a week, trust me, i lost 8 kgs doing it before i stopped and binged so gained it back.

As I have lost and things got looser (aka jiggley) the belly looks like cellulite. From past experience once the skin tightens up it will look smoother. Until the weight is gone and the skin tightens up it will look funky. Keep a moisturizer on it, doesn't really matter what one, and it will help. Dr. Oz recommended using a product with Retinol, but those are expensive to be using daily as a full body moisturizer.

    Good Luck!

I carry most of my fat on my stomach (rather than my thighs, bum or anywhere else) and since loosing 5% of my body fat over the past month my stomach isn't as firm looking. I think keeping up with toning exercises and cardio will help. The other key big thing seems to be water and I've read this over and over but until last week I don't think I was drinking near enough. Hopefully this will help too.

My opinion would be to be wary of creams, pills, etc... and not to use these as a substitute for a healthy lifestyle.

    Best of luck.
