Hi All,

I have been on MFP since July 2010, since being on here have only lost 5 lbs. I have been logging and watch my calorie intake. I started the C25K back in June, quickly found out that my knees wouldn't handle running quite yet. So, I started doing the 30DS and progressed through all three levels and once. I also included a ton of walking and biking for cardio. When the 30DS was no longer a chalenge I stared doing P90x (classic) and am currently in my 5th week.

I have noticed a lot of changes (i.e., smaller cloths, muscle definition, stamina). In fact, the clothes I am wearing now, are clothes that I wore when I was 30 lbs lighter, but they fit better now. I am a rather large girl (5'10" and 270lbs) and think I am just gaining it all back in muscle.

So, after all of that I was wondering if anyone out there has had the same experiences, and if so, did they finally start losing pounds again??? And, how long did it take before you started losing lbs again?

I don't think I am at a plateu, I just think my body is changing. Any help/motivation/advice?

Congratulations! That's the goal! It's not weight loss, it's fat loss. And yes, muscle weighs more than fat. But muscle also keeps your metabolism running, thereby burning more fat! I highly recommend Tom Venuto's "Burn the fat, feed the muscle" book. Worth every penny.
