Should I Increase my Caloric Intake when I start working?

Right now my calorie intake is 1510 a day and I have lightly active as my fitness setting because I go to the gym 4 days a week, I am not completely sedentary. 1510 works for now but I was wondering if I should increase that number once I start working again. I worked at UPS for almost 6 years but I didn't load tractor trailers long and its a very physical job. I have been rehired as a loader/unloader at UPS but havent started yet, I am not sure if I will ever start. Loading/unloading trailers is very physical work so I figure that when and if I do start working within the next week or two I will be burning hundreds of more calories easily. The typical work day is 3.5 to 5 hours long. If I do start working again at UPS what should I set my caloric intake to? Shouldnt I set it higher than 1510 per day since I will be loading and or unloading tractor trailers? I will still be working out in the gym 4/5 days a week as well on top of that.

    Yes, change your activity level from lightly active to very active to match your new lifestyle.

    Yes, it sounds like you could increase your activity level to active once you start working and see where that puts you. But remember, weight loss takes a lot of trial and error. Increase your calories, pay attention to how you feel, how your energy levels and mood are, and how much you're losing and adjust after a few weeks.

    To change your activity setting go to MY HOME, then Settings, then Update diet/fitness profile

    To manually change your calorie goal, go to MY HOME, then Goals.

    I usually don't recommend changing two variables at once as it is hard to determine what's causing weight changes. I would keep your calories the same for the first week and check the weight loss a the the end of the week. If you lose more weight than you normally would you will get an idea of work impacts your metabolism. then you can just add in some calories after that
