FR sent! I started running almost 2 years ago and I love it! I am running my first half marathon in February. Good luck!

I started running almost a year ago! I ran my first 5k last July. I don't remember exactly but I had wanted to run one in May or June but I just wasn't ready. I think, even if you may feel like you can do more, you should stick to the training program. I think it's okay to skip ahead by no more than a week but I mean stick to only running for 3 days a week.

I'm currently training for a 10K in May and am so excited!

Best of luck! Feel free to add me!

I just did W7D3 of C25K! 2.27 miles in 25 minutes, not include warm up & cool down. I'm the same chick that failed running the mile in high school because I couldn't run the whole time! My mom started running later in life and ran two half marathons in her second year of running. I recruited her to run my first 5K with me, hopefully in a few weeks.

Same here. I'm doing my first 5k In mid April.
Boyfriend and I are training together, but he's run 5 & 10Ks before and is just getting back into shape, while I've never been or even pretended to be a runner.
Feeling a little anxious to start getting better and actually running, but, like your profile pic, I just keep remembering that I'm doing myself a huge favor by STARTING and sticking to it. It will eventually all be worth it and I can hopefully incorporate running for fun into my life.
