While compression gear has been shown to improve performance, I'm not competing. So, I workout in loose clothing (typically bought at Wal-mart or Target).0
-
Loose all the way, I just can't wear anything tight.0
-
I prefer loose. I'm not a runner or anything but it seems runners I know like the compression clothing.0

Loose, comfy fitting clothing.
My daughter runs marathons and loves the knee high compression socks. She says it makes all the difference for her.0 -
I personally like to wear tight bottoms and looser tops. I love to run in the Lululemon Run:Inspire tights! Amazing. As for tops I wear any old shirt I have. I saved up all my tees from interning in the NHL and use them lots!0

Depends on what I am doing. I prefer bike shorts to work out in.0
-
I like the compression on the bottom and loose tanks on the top.0
-
at 41, 3 kids, and nearly 70lbs lost, I like compression for bottoms...keeps my jiggling bits a little more stable. I find I am also less sore the next day. I prefer a looser top though.0

It depends. When I do yoga I wear compression, had a bad experience stepping on loose pants/shirt a couple of times.
When I lift though it's all loose, shirt and pants. I love my large kid's size jogging pants from Target, so comfy and inexpensive! :happy:0 -
loose, but running outside in the cold: these are my compressions....0
-
another depends (not the adult diapers...)
For anything involving biking I'm in my tri / bike shorts, for long runs I like to wear compression tights (the science is a little sketchy on the benefits wearing them while running but the recovery benefits seem to be well documented) and, also for long runs, I wear a compression top under whatever shirt I have on, but that's more a case of my aversion to chaffed / bloody nipples.0 -
Compression capris and a fitted tee every time.0
-
compression is a must for bottoms for me.
loose fitting stuff just doesnt feel right. especially loose fitting cotton stuff that's just an all-around NO for me. since it's hard finding compression tops that fit me and that wont ride up during workouts, i make allowance for simple tees to make up for the few performance tops i have.
my fave tshirts are old navys vintage tees or very old tshirts that are soft and thin0 -

In the winter, especially, compression clothing. Especially up top, otherwise the man-nips get rubbed raw.
I also don't wear cotton at all.0 -
Both. Compression top & tights with loose shirt & shorts over the top (as it hides the bumps & lumps!)0
-
It just depends what catches my eye. I like loose tank tops as a rule though. I've tried working out in tshirts but it always feels more constricting and I hate thinking about whether i'm getting pit stains. Bottoms it just depends on what i find that fits and what's clean. :P0

I typically wear compression bottoms with a technical moisture wicking sleeveless top.
I never work out in a cotton top.0 -

Yep...
Compression under, loose over.0 -
Compression gear. I don't like my flab bouncing around...and I still have flab. Sigh.0
-
I prefer to work out in tighter gear. Usually 3/4 length compression pants (love Old Navy active wear) and a long tank that isn't going to end up around my ears if we have to do handstand push-ups or something that day.0

When I'm riding my bike, tight bike shorts. When I swim, lycra jammers.
Everything else like lifting and rock climbing, I go with some decently loose stuff.0 -
This is gross but I wear compression otherwise I think I hear people clapping for me while I run when it's really just my loose belly smacking against my body. I wear a normal tee shirt over the compression shirt0
-
Tight for me. I'm very clumsy, and I trip all over myself and loose clothes when I'm doing my workouts otherwise. Even yoga pants. But my carpet is also itchy, so naked or minimal clothing is out. Usually it's stretch pants and a thin tee.0
-
Loose. Don't have the body type for the other. Not into tight fitting clothes anyway.0
-
I have just started wearing compression pants and love them. I run in them and also train my endurance horse wearing them - abit slippery in the saddle but they make a big difference on a long ride
I usually wear a tight ish top too as I can't stand clothing flapping about.0 -
compression underwear is pretty much under my work out shorts/pants at all times.
unless i'm cycling, and then i'm just wearing cycling shorts. i don't care if i'm mountain biking with friends. i'm wearing those tight shorts and i'm sooooo comfortable.
also, notice how i called them compression underwear? yeah, thats right fellas, you wear them under your pants. i don't want to see people lifting or running in just those things.
there is a rule- always two layers of fabric between the outside world, and your twig and berries.0 -
^two layers as above.
Long johns + trackies in winter
Compression+board shorts in summer.0 -
It's the dead of winter and i run outside. I like my clothes to be as tight as possible to keep the cold air out.0
