I started the C25K Program in September and completed through week 5... then it got cold out and I got lazy.

We had few warm days 2 weeks ago so I decided to go out and run, and chose to start over with Week 1, day 1, since I wasn't sure how I'd do after not running for months. I just logged onto my run tracker for the heck of it and compared...

September:
Total Distance: 1.42 miles
Average Pace: 12:59

January:
Total Distance: 2.13 miles
Average Pace: 10:02

And I even remember thinking "this isn't so bad at all" when I was doing it! I can't wait for the sub-zero temps and ICE to go away because I can not wait to get out and get going again!!

Just wanted to share...I've always hated running until I tried that program and after the first 2 weeks or so, I started to really look forward to running nights... and now I can't wait to start again!

You can do it!! The first two weeks or so were the hardest for me but after that I really started enjoying it. If you can't run through the running intervals, slowwwww down, even if it feels like you could walk faster. Eventually you'll get faster and faster! I NEVER thought I'd make it through week 5 (day 3 is run 20 minutes straight) but I did and it was the most amazing thing ever!
