Hello there,
I was wondering if anyone else has had issues with the target weight loss. My targets have bee calculated by the app to loose 2lb a week however, each day when I finish logging my weight the results for in 5 wks is the same as my starting weight!
I don't understand!

Any advice much appreciated

My best advice to you is to ignore the predicition it gives you.

Are you using the app? Someone else posted recently that it was giving him/her (can't remember) odd results at the end of the day. Sometimes even gains when calories were too low to result in an increase. The only time I've ever seen weird predictions is when I click on it more than once. Honestly though, most of the time I don't even bother to hit complete. It's not necessary.

Either way, don't worry about it too much. While calorie balance is the majority of the weight loss equation, there is more to it so just because they predict a certain loss in 5 weeks doesn't mean that's what you'll when in 5 weeks.

It's "if every day were like today". If you are set to lose 2lbs/wk but for that day let's say you finish logging with 500 cals remaining. It will essentially be 3lbs/wk x 5 weeks. Which would in result be your current weight subtracted by 15lbs.
