How often do you weigh yourself?

The past few weeks I started here with mfp I have been weighing myself first thing every morning. It 'feels' like it keeps me more focused.
But as I head into what I know will be a particularly tough week, I was wondering if it might be better to have just one day of the week weigh-in schedule.
I used to weigh my self once a week, then once every few weeks - but I started eating badly.
Also the day of the week mattered - like on Fridays I would let loose at the weekend. so Monday weigh-in I think worked better.
What weigh-in schedule works for you & why?

once a week, because your weight fluctuates from day to day. you should try to weigh yourself first thing in the morning before you eat anything also.0

i weigh in every morning. it keeps me motivated. the mornings that i didnt weigh in just were not the same. some people say to only weigh yourself once a week or even once a month, but do what works for you!
good luck!!!0 -
I weigh myself everyday (it just helps me to catch things and make sure that extra pound is just water and not real weight)
but I weigh in here once a week0 -
I weigh myself every day-but know that I only track my weight once a week-on Tuesdays.0

I weigh myself everyday (unless I've been particularly bad the day before) but only weigh in on MFP once a week.0

+Once a week, Saturday morning before Breakfast. I did the every day weigh In and it drove me crazy.
Whatever works for you, that's what matters.0 -
Lately, I've been doing every day, (I'm somewhat addicted to it!), but normally, I do it on Thursdays or Fridays. Don't forget to measure yourself, too, because some weeks when I haven't lost on the scale, I'll have lost inches.0

Thanks for the advice! I was feeling like I might be being too obsessive weighing everyday, so I am relieved to hear many of you do the same thing to stay on track!0

Every morning...but I know there are fluctuations....and my "official" weigh in is on Monday. Monday weigh in keeps me on track on the weekends! Whatever works for you!0

Don't weigh yourself every day. It will only hurt you in the long run. Weigh once a week. At most.
Here is a good read;

I've been weighing in daily, and its driving me nuts. I'm working on weighing weekly, if that doesn't work..going to try and do it every other week, or once a month.0

I used to NEVER weigh myself and just go by how my clothes fit.. that was fantastic back in April-July.. I lost two pant sizes.. but then in August I weighed myself and had only lost 5 pounds! I was so mad! And then I seemed to plateau.. I'm still in the same pant size since August... well black Friday I got a wii.. and well I don't know how accurate that is, but presuming it's right I've lost 15 lbs since August! So now checking in on the wii everyday I am technically weighing in every day but I'm starting to think I'm going to do it with the sound off and facing the other way LOL I want to go back to not knowing and just working on it and doing my best to stick to exercising and eating better...0
