Suunto quest - calorie counts way off?

I just got a Suunto quest and Suunto has a pretty good reputation so I figured the calorie counts would be close to accurate. Their website indicates that there can be up to 10% error.
I did an hour Zumba class, avg HR 144, high being 173, calories burned - 1000. I'd believe 500 but that I don't believe. Does anyone have a Suunto? Is yours so far off as well?
Otherwise, I like it but maybe I'll just have to use it to compare previous workouts and ignore the calorie burn.

I currently use the Suunto Quest, compared to my polar set up that I use to use the Quest does read around the same. If anything slightly higher, by 80-100 calories at the most.0
